Micro Clay Nature is a natural clay-based continuous flooring system designed for indoor use, ideal for residential traffic. It combines clay micromortar, bioil, and natural floor wax. It is 100% natural, eco-friendly, and non-toxic. It contains no Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and is available in a wide range of colors, with ivory as its original tone.

Thanks to the thermoregulatory capacity of clay (which absorbs and slowly releases heat), it is perfect for underfloor heating systems. However, it should only be used in non-humid areas such as bedrooms and living rooms.

How to apply this raw clay-based continuous floor

To achieve optimal results, it is essential to follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully. First, inspect the surface condition as it must be free of moisture, strong and firm, and without cracks or fissures.

For radiant floors or surfaces subject to significant thermal expansion, we recommend treating the expansion joints beforehand with elastic mortars.

Proper base preparation is crucial for the durability of any surface treated with this material. Optionally (but preferably), embed a fiberglass mesh into the base layer.

To begin the application, mix the mortar with water until a compact, dense paste is formed.

Apply one to two layers of this mixture, achieving a total thickness of approximately 1.5 mm to cover joints and level the surface.

For the finish, apply two more layers depending on the desired look, which can be either smooth-polished or lightly sanded. Once fully dry, apply two coats of Bioil to ensure complete waterproofing. Optionally, a final coat of natural floor wax can be applied to enhance surface protection.

Usage Warnings

Additional recommendations for using this product relate to ambient temperature and humidity levels. It is advisable to apply it at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C and with relative humidity between 50% and 80%.
Under no circumstances should it be applied in strong winds, direct rain, or when there is a risk of frost within the following 48 hours.
