Micro Lime Plus Piscinas is a continuous coating made from NHL lime, selected fine aggregates, and high-resistance, flexible resins.
It is available in a wide range of colors and is fully resistant to UV radiation. It can be applied to a variety of surfaces such as floors, walls, stairs, and pools.
It also adheres well to materials such as tiles, ceramic, glass, plaster, or wood, both indoors and outdoors. On all these surfaces and materials, different application techniques can be used to achieve the desired finish, including damascato, polished, or stucco.

How to apply exterior pool flooring with Micro Lime Plus
Before applying Micro Lime Plus Piscinas, it’s essential to properly inspect and prepare the surface to ensure the safety and durability of the coating. First, verify that the substrate is completely dry and free of moisture (for pools, it is recommended to check this with a moisture meter).
The substrate must also be firm, stable, and free from any cracks. Any elements such as drains, filters, or lighting fixtures must be sealed properly to prevent leaks.
Before applying the product, a primer must be chosen based on the substrate type. For porous surfaces, use ECO-PRIMER, applying as many coats as necessary to fully waterproof the wall.
For smooth, non-porous substrates, ECO-PRIMER PUENTE is the most suitable option. The application begins with a base layer, which should be applied on surfaces with cracks or expansion joints.
To do this, a fiberglass mesh must be embedded between two coats of the material, allowing the first layer to dry completely to ensure effectiveness. This base should be prepared using Elastix waterproof resin, which helps create a compact paste that is leveled with a stainless steel trowel.
Next comes the finish, composed of three coats of product. The first coat, like the base layer, can serve as the final finish with a damascato effect, applied with the right proportions to achieve color and texture uniformity.
The second coat, for a polished finish, is used to fill the pores in the base mortar by mixing Micro Lime Plus with Micro Lime Plus Superfino. It is recommended to sand beforehand to reduce imperfections and minimize material use.
Finally, the third coat, with a stucco finish, can also be lightly sanded to perfect the result. This last coat should be made entirely with Micro Lime Plus Superfino.
Once all layers are dry, the surface can be sanded with 100 or 120 grit paper, followed by one or two coats of ECO-PRIMER sealant. For pools, Micro Lime Plus must be protected with PROTEX PISCINA.
Additional recommendations for using this product relate to ambient temperature and humidity levels. It is advisable to apply it at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C and with relative humidity between 50% and 80%.
Under no circumstances should it be applied in strong winds, direct rain, or when there is a risk of frost within the following 48 hours.
