Micro Clay Plus is a continuous natural clay flooring designed for indoor use with medium residential traffic. It consists of a blend of clay micromortar, Component B, and polyurethane lacquer with a low content of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).
It is available in a wide range of colors, with its natural color being ivory white. Thanks to clay’s thermoregulatory properties (absorbing and slowly releasing heat), it is perfect for underfloor heating. However, it should only be applied in dry areas such as bedrooms and living rooms.

It is the perfect choice for modern and minimalist spaces. With no visible joints, it provides a warm and natural finish, helping to regulate moisture and improve overall comfort.
How to apply the Micro Clay Plus eco continuous flooring
Before application, the substrate must be moisture-free, solid, and crack-free. For radiant heating systems, it is recommended to apply elastic mortars beforehand, especially over expansion joints.
Next, depending on the substrate type, apply the appropriate primer. For porous surfaces, several coats of PRIMER must be applied to ensure proper waterproofing.
For non-porous surfaces, PRIMER PUENTE should be used, and it must remain tacky before applying Micro Clay Plus.
For the base layer, it is recommended to embed a fiberglass mesh to ensure durability. This mesh must be fully covered with two coats of Micro Clay Plus.For the finish, mix Micro Clay with pigment and Component B in the proportions indicated by the manufacturer. Apply two to three coats of product, depending on the desired aesthetic.
To achieve a stucco effect, apply the material using a flexible stainless steel trowel and gently sand once all layers are dry. Depending on technique, layering, color mixing, troweling, or sanding, other effects such as marbled or slate-like finishes can be achieved.
Once all layers are dry, apply one or two coats of PRIMER sealer to waterproof the surface.
Additional recommendations for using this product relate to ambient temperature and humidity levels. It is advisable to apply it at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C and with relative humidity between 50% and 80%.
Under no circumstances should it be applied in strong winds, direct rain, or when there is a risk of frost within the following 48 hours.
