How to apply LIME PAINT
To achieve optimal results when applying lime paint for interior and exterior use, it is essential to follow the product instructions carefully. First, ensure that the substrate is breathable, completely dry, clean, and free from friable parts, dust, or mold.
It is also essential to repair any damage to the surface and smooth it out using products like Cal Raso or Adhesivo Bio if necessary. Once this is done, the surface should be primed with ECO PRIMER.
The paint is ready to use without adding water. Stir it thoroughly until it reaches a smooth, liquid consistency. If using pigment, it must be blended with an electric mixer to ensure complete integration.
For application, use a minimum of two coats, applied with a short-nap roller or brush. It can also be sprayed using an airless paint sprayer.Allow each coat to dry for approximately 6 hours, although this time may vary depending on environmental conditions.
Additional recommendations for using this product relate to ambient temperature and humidity levels. It is advisable to apply it at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C and with relative humidity between 50% and 80%.
Under no circumstances should it be applied in strong winds, direct rain, or when there is a risk of frost within the following 48 hours.
